I write to you, fathers,
    because you know him who is from the beginning.^(B)
I write to you, young men,
    because you are strong,^(C)
    and the word of God^(D) lives in you,^(E)

²⁶ Your father’s blessings are greater
    than the blessings of the ancient mountains,

Let all these rest on the head of Joseph,^(B)
    on the brow of the prince among^[b] his brothers.^(C)
